We know payment systems, how they work, the jargon used in the industry and how they are regulated.  No one knows how they will be regulated in the future or how existing payment systems will be disrupted by new products and services. Or enhanced by them. But we know that ‘fintech’ is booming, with spending on new payment products and services accelerting rapidly, including in the Asia Pacific region. We are well-placed to model possible outcomes and to seek to anticipate the threats and opportunities on the very near horizon as well as those a little further away or even just over the horizon.

We work with entrepreneurs with new and exciting payment product ideas and with established companies extending their offerings into the payments arena.  Some of their ideas and initiatives are pure payment system plays; others are enhancements to e-commerce.  Some are confined to the local market but most have cross-border ambitions or are establishing operations in large markets at the outset from a base in Singapore.

Yet other entrepreneurs and established businesses come to us with new e-commerce business ideas.  We help them with underlying technology issues and contracts, information security, data protection/privacy and the various contracts that they need for their business.  We provide them with legal support for their marketing campaigns and programmes, including loyalty programmes, bringing together effective communications and legal compliance.
